Connect your own AI agent
On Pro and Restaurant, agents such as Claude Code and Codex connect through MCP to read orders, menu items, low stock and sales. Letting an agent propose changes, such as recipes you review before they're saved, is a pilot with a few businesses for now.
You decide what it sees
You approve each agent with your password and choose its branches. An agent that may propose changes also needs your approval with a passkey. No customer personal data is shared, and access ends after 90 days unless you renew it.

Questions
- Can a connected agent change my menu or prices?
- Not on its own. A connected agent reads orders, menu items, stock and sales. Letting it propose changes is a pilot with a few businesses for now, and every change waits for your approval with a passkey. It never publishes anything by itself.
- Which agents work with Spice-ey?
- Agents that support MCP with OAuth, such as Claude Code and Codex. Settings → Agent access shows the setup steps for each.
- Does the assistant see my customers' phone numbers?
- Agents never receive customer personal data. The assistant works from your sales and customer totals to answer your questions.
